About Phil Crenshaw
This recruiting firm is a sole proprietorship, meaning there is a single
owner, as it has been, since it was first licensed in 1970. Phil has
been an active participant at the local level, as a member of the
Lubbock Association of Personnel Consultants, He served two consecutive
two year terms on the State Board of Directors of the Texas Association
of Personnel Consultants in Austin. He has been active in the local
community, having been a past
President of the Lubbock State School Parents |

Association. He served many years as an
ordained deacon, attends a local church of which he is an active member and
has been a Bible teacher to university college students attending Texas Tech
University.
Phil has traveled extensively for Christian mission causes to Norway, Israel
and India. He served for many years as an Affiliate Staff Coordinator for
the Josh McDowell Ministries and made a total of 13 trips to the former
Soviet Union.
Prior to establishing this agency, he was a broadcaster and co-owner of
radio properties in Oklahoma and Texas. He was a radio newscaster in Dallas
prior to relocating to West Texas. He has an engineering degree and is a
veteran of World War II.
Phil and his wife, Ruth, have six children, a dozen grandchildren and a
dozen great grandchildren. His greatest pleasure is spending time with them as he
can.
About the Agency. Over the years we reduced our staff, one or two
employees at a time. As this resulted in the placement of better qualified
people at higher paying positions, it became clear we required less staff to
accomplish our objective.
Finally, through attrition, all placements are on my shoulders, whether a good
or bad decision, remains to be seen. It has been this way for several years and
I often think of the much quoted statement, "If it's going to be, it's up to
me!" The results are less than perfect, but the buck does stop at my desk.

rely on keeping a data base, into which all important text and data is filed on
every specific candidate. As you might expect, it is confidential. We have never
caused even one candidate to lose a job or forfeit an opportunity because we
were lax or breached a confidence.

the option at all times to request to be deleted. Otherwise, your file is
retrievable for further activity at any time.
